Princeton falls at Farmville Central

FARMVILLE -- Farmville Central's defense thwarted two late-inning rallies and edged Princeton 6-4 in a key Carolina 1-A Conference game Friday evening.
The Jaguars tightened the league standings and created a tie with the Bulldogs for third in the Carolina Conference at 7-4. Spring Creek and Ayden-Grifton are tied for the top spot at 8-3.
Princeton (12-7) concludes its regular-season slate against Rosewood next Tuesday.
