WASHINGTON -- Washington's Aaron Mobley went three-for-three and picked up the win in five innings of three-hit work as the Pam Pack defeated Eastern Wayne 11-1 in five innings.
The game was called after Washington pushed across three runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Garrett Sutton doubled for Eastern Wayne, while Jesse Lancaster drove in the Warriors' lone run in the top of the third. The Pam Pack answered with a crucial, four-run bottom of the third.
"We got three hits in the third and scored one run, but then we hit into a double play," Eastern Wayne coach Jabo Fulghum said. "When they got four, he (Mobley) got tough. He went three up and three down the next two innings."
Three Eastern Wayne pitchers combined to give up 10 hits with starter Chris Davis taking the loss. The Warriors made five errors, leading to five unearned runs.
The Warriors look to bounce back at home against West Carteret on Friday.
