Faith Christian's Hunter Davis struck out eight on the mound and helped his cause with a three-hit, three-RBI performance as the Conquerors defeated Kerwin Christian School 13-3 at home on Monday.
Faith improved to 6-5 overall and takes on Liberty Christian at home today.
Bobby Floors added three hits and an RBI for Faith, while Michael Coor and Rusty Winders added two hits each. Winders added an RBI.

Sasser shuts down
North Lenoir
Charles B. Aycock's Grant Sasser yielded just one run on three hits in seven innings of work as the Golden Falcons claimed a 5-1 win over North Lenoir on Monday.
Sasser struck out 12 against two walks.
Joseph Toler added two hits, including a double, while Thomas Pilkington drove in a run with a double.
Aycock (13-1) travels to Greene Central on Wednesday.
