Tennis -- GC stays unbeaten

SNOW HILL -- Traditional Class 2-A powerhouse Greene Central posted four shutouts in singles and three in doubles en route to a 9-0 decision against Farmville Central on the Snow Hill Tennis Complex courts Wednesday afternoon.
The Rams (15-0) improved to 11-0 in the Carolina/Eastern Plains 1-A/2-A Conference and extended their league win streak to 80 matches. They'll take the next 12 days off before entertaining Rosewood on April 20.
Andrew Hulbert, Brent Darden, Lin Hall, Chris Hardy, Dustin Grant and Brian Sugg each claimed a straight-set victory in singles. Hulbert, Darden, Hall, Hardy and Grant each remained unbeaten in 15 matches.
Sugg climbed to 14-1 overall.
