Baseball -- Rams one-hit Kinston

SNOW HILL -- Greene Central's Jordy Davis tossed a six-inning, one-hitter on Wednesday as the Rams dropped non-conference foe Kinston 11-1 at the James R. Fulghum Athletic Complex.
The win improves Greene Central, who exploded for eight runs in the fourth, to 4-5 overall.
Joseph Wade paced the Rams offensively with three hits, including a three-run home run. Jared Williamson added a double and three RBI.
Reggie Dixon took the loss for the Vikings and got the only hit off of Davis.
Greene Central returns to action on March 31 at home against South Central.
