Track -- Rosewood boys, NL girls win

Rosewood's boys track team turned in a solid all-around performance and pulled away with 119 team points in a three-team match at the Eagles' track on Monday.
North Lenoir claimed second with 67 team points. Wayne Country Day did not figure in the team scoring.
Rosewood got first-place finishes from Robert Rast (pole vault), Javon Williams (100 dash, 200 meter), Jeremy Ruesch (high jump, 300 hurdles), Michael Spriggs (discus), Danny Langston (800 meter), Bryce Havenook (3200 meter).
The Eagles also claimed the 4x200, 4x100 and 4x400 relay races.
North Lenoir's girls team won their meet with a team score of 74. Rosewood finished with 47 team points, while the Chargers finished with 46.
The Hawks got two first-place finishes from Shannon Plymouth in the high jump and and the 100 dash.
Rosewood hosts Union in a three-team meet on Thursday, while North Lenoir travels to Greene Central for a Class 2-A Eastern Plains Conference meet on March 25.
