Baseball -- Faith falls in opener

ROCKY MOUNT -- Faith Christian's Blake Cason and Stephen Sloan had two hits each as the Conquerors droped their season opener 9-2 at Falls Road of Rocky Mount on Friday.
Hunter Davis had six strikouts on the mound for Faith, but the defense had five errors in the loss.
The Conquerors return to action on Tuesday at Trinity Christian of Greenville.
