SPIVEY'S CORNER -- Rosewood was error-prone Friday night as Midway beat the Lad Eagles 8-1 Friday night.
Kasey Grey provided the best offensive chance with a fifth-inning triple that scored Rosewood's only run. Aubrey Reinhard took the loss after five innings of work, with Chandra Meadows throwing the last two innings.
"We made lots of errors," said Rosewood coach Jennifer Cochran. "We'll come back and we'll get better."
The Lady Eagles (1-3) take on Farmville Central on Tuesday at the Rosewood diamond.
