Conqueror boys fall to Falls Road

Faith Christian Academy's varsity boys shot poorly from the free throw line and it cost the Conquerors at the end of Friday's game with Falls Road of Rocky Mount, losing 58-53.
Faith went just 4-of-15 from the line, while Falls Road knocked in 18 of 33, which provided more than the wining margin.
Faith will take on Trinity Christian on Tuesday

Faith girls fall in pair of games
Faith Christian Academy's girls dropped a pair of games this past week, losing Friday to Falls Road of Rocky Mount 46-22 and losing on Tuesday to Berean Baptist Academy of Fayetteville 34-26.
In Tuesday's game, Kasey Lundquist and Elizabeth Christopher led Faith with seven points each. Lauren Stocks had 14 rebounds and three blocked shots. Berean's leading scorers were Margarita Colon with 15 points and Sam Recod with 10 points.
In Friday's game, Anna Taylor of Falls Road led all scorers with 14 points. Channing Mills led Faith with six points. Faith's record is (2-4) overall and (1-3) NCCSA.
Faith's next game at Trinity Christian at Greenville on Friday.

Faith's newest team wins first-ever game
Faith Christian Academy's first-ever JV girls team went 1-1 in their first week of play, winning its opener against Berean Baptist 13-9 on Tuesday and falling to Falls Road of Rocky Mount 26-13 Friday.
Against Berean, Kristen Maddox scored six points to lead Faith. Chellie Redinbo led Berean with seven points. Against Falls Road, Faith was led by Natalie Thibeaux with four points.
Faith's girls will play Johnston Christian on Tuesday at Goldsboro.
Conqueror boys drop Falls Road
Faith Christian Academy overcame Falls Road of Rocky Mount 35-31 on Friday as Aaron Sladick led the way with 12 points. T.J. Sasser added 11 points for the Conquerors (6-4, 2-3).
Faith's boys will host Liberty Christian of Durham on Tuesday.
