Annie P. Blakeney, 92, 1303 E. Walnut St., peacefully succumbed to the Lord's call Monday morning at the Brian Center.
She was born Wednesday, May 20, 1925, in Birmingham Ala., to the late Izan and Martha Sanders.
The triumphant homegoing service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Mark Church of Christ, with her son, the Rev. David Williams, officiating. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery.
Treasured memories are held dear by her sons, the Rev. David Williams and wife, Barbara, of the home and Charles White of Springfield, Ill.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Mrs. Blakeney will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.
The family will assemble at the residence in preparation for the funeral cortege.
