Wilbert Lewis Thompson died Oct. 29 in Hyattsville, Md.
He was born in Mount Olive on Dec. 31, 1951.
He was the son of Jessie Oliver Thompson and Rebecca Ruth Lewis Thompson.
He is also survived by his wife Linda Thompson and three children.
Visitation will be today from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fort Lincoln Funeral and Cemetery in Brenthood, Md.
The funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a love gift be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
