Rebecca Loftus Gray, 74, LaGrange, peacefully passed away Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016.
Rebecca was born Dec. 10, 1941, in Lenoir County to the late Jack Edward Loftus and Dolly Smith Loftus.
Rebecca relished her roles as wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. The needs of her family were her number one priority. She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Rebecca loved trips to the beach and pier fishing, and was an avid reader.
She was a member of The Bridge Church of Princeton.
A service to celebrate and honor Rebecca's life will be held Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at 11 a.m. from Rouse Funeral Home, with pastor Andy Stovall officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Rebecca is survived by her husband of 51 years, Charles L. Gray; three children, Charlie Gray, Randy Gray and Grace Wilson and husband, J.J.; four grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron, Hudson and Rilie; and three sisters, Joan Faulkner and husband, Jimmy, Louise Dorsey and Loretta Morgan and husband, John.
In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Gray.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home of LaGrange.
