Louis Best Jr., 87, 835 E. Wards Bridge Road, Kenansville, died Monday at Willow Creek Nursing Center.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Big Zion AME Zion Church, with Dewitt McGowan officiating. Burial will be in Best Family Cemetery.
Born in Duplin County, he was the son of the late Louis Best Sr. and Rosa Schriver Best, and husband of Jessie Mae Best.
One son survives.
Visitation will be an hour prior to funeral at the church Saturday.
Arrangements are by Garris Funeral Home.
