Mr. Perez Donavan McDuffie, 28, formerly of Wayne County, affectionately known by his family and friends as "P," 3100 Nobles Ave., Charlotte, N.C., departed his earthly life Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, N.C.
Perez was born in Wayne County Nov. 15, 1986, to Mr. Jeffery Gerald and Ms. Terrilyn Denise McDuffie.
He received his education in the public school system of Wayne County.
Funeral service will be conducted Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, at 1 p.m. in D.L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C. Deacon Timothy E. McDuffie will officiate.
Interment will follow with a private ceremony.
Also, a public viewing will be held Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. in D.L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C., with the family present at 11 a.m.
Mr. McDuffie leaves to cherish his loving and precious memories to his parents, Jeffery Gerald and Terrilyn McDuffie; his six sisters, Jennifer S. McDuffie and Ebony McDuffie both of Charlotte, N.C., and Pinesia Faison, Dinesia Wells, Angelica McDuffie and Asha Sauls all of Goldsboro, N.C.; his brother, Joshua McDuffie; his three daughters, Ivyhanna S. McDuffie of Charlotte, N.C., and Tah'Laysha F McDuffie and Kayden L Watkins both of Goldsboro, N.C.; his grandmother, Lillie Bell McDuffie-Walker; his great-grandmother, Mary McDuffie; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Flowers may be sent to McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C., beginning Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
