Bonnie Rose Worley Rhodes, 67, of 1113 Princeton Road, Princeton, died Wednesday evening, Nov. 12, 2014.
Bonnie was born in Wayne County on June 1, 1947, and was the daughter of Rose Mozingo Worley and the late Earl Williamson Worley Sr.
Bonnie was the consumate mother and more recently enjoyed helping to raise her granddaughters Ava and Gabrielle. Bonnie loved to travel so long as it was with her loved ones and loved the Carolina coast more than anyone. She loved much and was loved much. She will be missed dearly.
The funeral service will be conducted at noon on Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Princeton Baptist Church with the Rev. Dwayne Batten officiating. Burial will follow in the Princeton Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Gary W. Rhodes; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bradley E. Rhodes and wife, Melissa, of Raleigh, and Michael H. Rhodes and wife, Sarah, of Apex; brother and sister-in-law, Earl W. Worley, Jr. and wife, Melissa, of Princeton; sister and brother-in-law, Dianne W. Grantham and husband, John, of Grantham; grandchildren, Ava and Gabrielle Rhodes
The family will be receiving friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
Although flowers are welcome, the family suggests contributions be made to Duke Children's Hospital, 2301 Erwin Road, Durham, N.C. 27710.
