George Franklin Boothe, 69, 103 Ellis Drive, died Monday in the Brian Center.
He was born Jan. 20, 1945, to Jesse Boothe Sr. and Lula Locklair Boothe in Wayne County.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Boothe, and seven children.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Greater St. John Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Old Mill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the church. At other times, the family will receive at residence, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are by Haskins Funeral Home of Goldsboro.
