JAMES EARL LOGAN

Retired Air Force Master Sgt. James Earl Logan passed away Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at the University North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Homegoing services will be held Saturday, Dec. 7, at 11 a.m. at the Lord's Table Church in Goldsboro. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Logan was born in Bentonia, Miss., July 31, 1946, to the late George H. and Belzonia Jones Logan.
He was a member of the Lord's Table in Goldsboro, and served as past deacon at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Logan was retired from the United States Air Force and Waukesha Electric (SPX).
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Vera Brewington Logan; two daughters, Tonisa Lifsey and husband, Miquel, of Goldsboro and Latasha Logan of Rocky Mount; and a grandson, Miquel J. Lifsey.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Logan was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
A visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, from 4 to 7 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
