PINK HILL -- Elijah Rose, 87, 1217 Sarecta Road, died Monday at Carolina East Hospice Care Center.
Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Big Zion AME Zion Church in Kenansville, with the Rev. Christopher Rose officiating. Burial will be in Boney Cemetery.
Born in Florence, S.C., he was the son of Elijah and Christine Smith Rose.
He is survived by four sons and three daughters.
Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 7 at Garris Funeral Home chapel.
