MOUNT OLIVE -- Alma Anderson Branch passed away on Tuesday after having enjoyed a life which spanned 102 years.
Services will be held by the graveside on Friday at 4 p.m. at the Anderson Family Cemetery on Northeast Church Road, Mount Olive. The Rev. Richard Cuddington will officiate.
Mrs. Branch, a longtime resident of the Mount Olive area, was a member of Northeast Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Branch; her parents, Frank and Clara Sanders Anderson; a sister, Ada Anderson Proctor; and a niece, Mildred Proctor Turner. Surviving her are a niece, Hilda Proctor Bridgers of Macclesfield; a nephew, Paul Proctor of New Bern; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Northeast FWB Church, c/o Mrs. James Holmes, 3341 Emmaus Church Road, Mount Olive 28365.
The family is being served by Tyndall Funeral Home.
