WILLIE E. BATTLE

ROCKY MOUNT -- Retired Staff Sgt. Willie E. Battle passed away Jan. 17, 2011, in Rocky Mount.
He was stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
Willie was the father of Shawn and Kitura Battle of Goldsboro, N.C., Charlton Battle of Washington, D.C., and Shelton Worrell of Winston-Salem, N.C.
The funeral will be held Saturday in Rocky Mount.
