MAUDE LOREEN FLANAGAN

Maude Loreen Flanagan, 89, passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at the Brian Center of Goldsboro.
She was born March 28, 1921, in Columbus, Ohio, to Charles and Frances Meeks.
A visitation of family and friends will be held Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
Everlasting memories are forever cherished by her daughter, Shirley McGuire of Goldsboro and finace', Ray Southerland; two sons, Bob Flanagan and wife, Sarah, of Alaska and Frank Flanagan and wife, Sue, of Minnesota; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
For the last nine years, Maude was a resident-patient at the Brian Center, where she called her home.
Her family wishes to express its thanks and appreciation for all acts of kindness and great care during her time there. Especially to her "Earth Angels" on the 500 Hall -- Nancy Deitz, LPN, Joann Radford, LPN, Regina Carroll, CNA, Hope Franklin, CNA, and her special friend, Ruth Lovvorn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Flanagan.
