Michael Eugene Israel, 54, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in Nash County, he was the son of the late Arthur E. "Gene" Israel and Mary Hunter Cox, and was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Israel.
A memorial services will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Jennifer Israel, 107 Sweet Water Drive, LaGrange.
