Correnner Carraway West, 95, died Tuesday at Carolinas Medical Center in Concord.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1 to 1:30 p.m. at First Christian Church, followed by her funeral at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Fred Clark officiating. Interment will be at Wayne Memorial Park.
She was born in Wayne County July 26, 1915, to the late Madie Bell Carraway and Sudie Mae Hinson Carraway. She was married to the late J. Alston West.
She is survived by a daughter and a son.
