MINNIE M. BALDWIN

Minnie Marjorie Baldwin, 63, lovingly known by her family and friends as "Ment," 103 N. Virginia St., her earthly life's journey ended peacefully Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center of Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Pentecostal United Holy Church, 600 E. Pine St., Goldsboro, with elder Ralph E. Love Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Willowdale Cemetery, 306 E. Elm St., Goldsboro.
Minnie was born in Wayne County Sept. 22, 1945, and was the daughter of the late Ida Saunders Baldwin and Eugene Baldwin.
Minnie attended Dillard High School where she graduated with honors in 1963.
She pursued her Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing at Winston-Salem State University and graduated as a registered nurse in 1967.
Her stepfather, Bishop Leamon Dudley Sr., and eight other siblings mourn her departure from earth to glory.
Mourning her death are her stepfather, Bishop Leamon Dudley Sr. and wife, Lucy, of Goldsboro; three sisters, Eugenia B. Daniels and husband, Walter, of Fayetteville, Thelma D. Dudley of Dudley and Cassandra R. Quick and husband, Gregory, of Goldsboro; five brothers, Leamon Dudley Jr. of Westfield, N.J., Reginald Charles Dudley of Goldsboro, Irvan Lamont Dudley and wife, Johnise, of Goldsboro, Larry Carzell Dudley and wife, Shanell, of Albany, N.Y., and Geoffrey Dudley and wife, Glenda, of O'Fallon, Ill.; one uncle, Arthur Baldwin and wife, Vera, of Goldsboro; five aunts, Edna Baldwin of Lake Ridge, Va., Mildred Johnson of Hookerton, Hattie Baldwin Hill of Virginia Beach, Va., Cassey Wilkins of Philadelphia, Pa., and Virginia Lewis and husband, Frizelle, of Elizabeth, N.J.; a special cousin, Floyd Newkirk Jr. of Greensboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Also, her oldest sister and a brother preceded her in death.
A viewing will be held Wednesday one hour prior at Pentecostal United Holy Church, 600 E. Pine St., Goldsboro, from 1 to 2 p.m.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence of Bishop and Mrs. Leamon Dudley Sr., 103 N. Virginia St.
