MARCELINE S. TUCKER

Marceline Stevens Tucker, 80, passed away on Sunday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the fellowship hall of Falling Creek Baptist Church followed by a service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Billy Webb will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times, the family will be at the home of her son, 602 Lynch Drive, Goldsboro.
Marceline was born in Wayne County on Dec. 26, 1928, to the late Luby Whitley Stevens and Lettie Margaret Blackman Stevens. She was a member of Falling Creek Baptist Church. Marceline was a retired school teacher having taught her entire career at Eastern Wayne.
Marceline is survived by her son, Isom Tucker and wife, Janice, of Goldsboro; her granddaughter, Christy T. Vinson and husband, Brian, of Goldsboro; her sister, Marjorie Tart and husband, John, of Grantham; and several special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Foster Stevens, Walter Stevens and Lacy W. Stevens.
