KINSTON -- Amy Elizabeth Lane, 36, passed away Monday evening at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
A service to celebrate Amy's life will be held Friday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends Friday following the service at the funeral home.
Amy was born in Wayne County on March 20, 1972, to Becky Langley Lane of Kinston and Cecil Ray Lane of Pikeville. She had been an employee of Moen. Amy was a faithful supporter of the local SPCA.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her special companion, Camille; her stepmother, Judy Lane of Pikeville; her brother, Rayburn Lane of Kinston; her sister, Jennifer Lane Jones and husband, Russell of Kinston; her nephew, Jordan Lane and her niece, Leslie Ann Jones.
She is also survived by her stepsisters, Lisa Langley of Burlington and Susan Barnes and husband, Keith, of Fremont.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to assist the family with expenses, in care of Seymour Funeral Home, 1300 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
