Robert "Bob" Donald Johnson was born Feb. 22, 1929 in Longview, Wash. and joined the Heavenly Choir Feb. 22, 2009.
A visitation will be held Wednesday at Windsor-Healdsburg Mortuary, 9660 Old Redwood Highway, Windsor, Calif., from 9 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow at noon at Shiloh District Cemetery in Windsor, Calif. A homegoing celebration will be held at 3 p.m. at Redwood Christian Fellowship, 7789 Healdsburg Ave., Sebastopol, Calif.
Bob lived in Fremont for 37 years before moving to the North Bay. He attended First Assembly of God for 35 years serving on many Boards and Committees including founding Board Member of Fremont Christian School Music Department, c/o Darryl Guzman.
Bob is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elaine.
He is also survived by his children, Patti and Allan Foster of Windsor, Calif.; Mike and Julie Johnson of Prunedale, Calif.; KC and Lucina Johnson of Salida, Calif.; Papa to Amy and Micael Dale and Robert Foster of Windsor, Calif.; Grandpa to Brannon, Keaton and Kelsey Johnson of Prunedale, Calif., Christina Johnson Berolo Salida, Daniel and Claudia Berolo, U.S. Air Force in Nebraska; and great-grandpa to Jeffery Dale of Windsor, Calif. and Aaliyah Berolo of Nebraska.
Bob is also survived by his sisters, Kathleen Sandrock and Barbara Johnson; nephew, Willie Johnson; and nieces, Victoria, Janet and Suzie; sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews of the Hartman family.
Arrangements are being handled by Windsor-Healdsburg Mortuary.
