A memorial service for Penelope P. Nelson will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with the Rev. Bill Ordelt officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.
Memorials can be given to the Penny Nelson Scholarship at the Wayne Community College Foundation, 3000 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534 or to Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, 532 Country Day Road, Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
