SMITHFIELD -- Aaron Earl Davis, 83, died Friday at Smithfield Manor.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Dann Patrick officiating. Burial will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Aaron was born in Wayne County on April 22, 1925, to the late John W. Davis and Mollie Sarah Bradford Davis. He was married to the late Mary Fleming Davis. Aaron was employed with Dewey Bros. for 21 years.
Aaron is survived by his sister, Ethel D. Edwards of Goldsboro; his nieces, Wilma Allen of Smithfield and Sarah Waters of Pine Level; and his nephew, Larry Godwin of Angier.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Myrtle Ruth Godwin.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times at the home of his sister, Ethel Edwards, 2621 U.S. 70 W., Goldsboro, N.C.
