H. Moreland Foster Jr., 79, 302 S. Alabama Ave., died Wednesday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. James Collins officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Elmwood Cemetery.
He leaves to mourn his wife of over 60 years, Bertha Foster of the home; daughters, Patricia (Jeffrey) Patrick and Shelley Foster of Goldsboro; son, H. Moreland Foster III of Goldsboro; sister, Laura F. (William) Thomas of Washington, D.C.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at other times at the residence where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
