Panice Garris Lambert, 70, 3231 Richardson Bridge Road, Princeton, died Monday evening at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home with the Rev. James Corbett and the Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Casey Funeral Home and immediately after the service. The committal service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
She was born in Wayne County on Sept. 20, 1938, and was the daughter of the late Prentice Earl and Mary Price Garris. She was the widow of the late Eugene Lambert. She was preceded in death by a brother Clayton Earl Garris.
Mrs. Lambert was a member of Riverside Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, served as church secretary, and was a member of the choir.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and David Lee of Princeton; sisters, Bobbie Cox of Jacksonville and Judy Mauldin of Hickory; and two granddaughters, Beth Lee of Wilmington and Kristen Lee of Princeton.
Arrangements are being handled by Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
