BARRY M. MCNAMEE
Died Jan. 18, 2009
Barry Michael McNamee, 68, a resident of Goldsboro and formally of Central Islip, N.Y. and Byhalia, Miss., passed away Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Barry retired as a Federal Express employee and was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1965.
Barry was the beloved husband of 43 years to Blanche McNamee. He was the worshiped father to Michelle Nunziato (James) of Goldsboro, Veronica Kerst (George) of Lakeland, Fla., Michael McNamee (Erika) Hamilton, Ohio, and Kevin McNamee of La Mirada, Calif. Barry was the adored Grandpa Bear to James, Melissa, Shawn, Zak, Olivia, Mallory, Brooklynn, Adam, Seth and Sage. He was also the beloved brother, uncle and cousin to many others.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Kathryn Alice McNamee and sister, Judith DiSpirito.
