Died Dec. 30, 2008
Larry Thomas Wilder Sr., 58, 310 Rollingwood Drive, Dudley, peacefully passed away Tuesday at his residence surrounded by his family.
His life will be remembered and celebrated Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the LBJ Center on the campus of the Original Tabernacle of Prayer Church with Apostle Lawrence Bogier officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Fremont Cemetery, Fremont.
A wealth of precious memories are left to his beloved and dutiful wife, Brendia Exum Wilder of the home; his children, Larry T. Wilder Jr. of Black Creek, Launcelot Wilder of Goldsboro, Melissa Artis of Stantonsburg, Tamara Wilder of Seven Springs, Shenita Wilder of Raleigh and LaQueila Wilder-Shaw, LaGrange; father, John Mack Wilder of Fremont; siblings, Mack Wilder of Washington, D.C., James Wilder of Dudley, Hilda Parks of Dudley, Johnanne Best of Elm City and Rosemary Wilder of Fremont; and 10 grandsons.
Visitation will be held today from 2:30 to 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at the residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
