Blanche Moore Howell, 98, of Stantonsburg, died Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. The Rev. Vance Harrell will officiate. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Stantonsburg Cemetery.
Surviving are her sons, Phillip Howell and wife, Valeria, of Stantonsburg, Marion Howell, Kenneth Howell, and Jerry Howell and wife, Kathy, all of Wilson; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Howell, and two daughters, Andean Mathews and Ruth Ballinger.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening immediately following the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Phillip Howell, 312 E. Commercial Ave., Stantonsburg.
