Betty Jean Barnes, 63, of 504 Quail Drive, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke Church of Christ with the Rev. David Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, James L. Barnes of Goldsboro; two children, Decarlous Barnes and Katrina Barnes, both of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Dalisa Barnes and Joslyen Wooten, both of Goldsboro; one great-grandchild, Destiny Barnes; four sisters, Doris Travis and Mary Faison, both of Goldsboro, Shirley Wilson of Waldorf, Md., Dorothy Wilson of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, Bennie Barnes of New York and Harry McCoy of Goldsboro.
Viewing will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
