MAGGIE H. KILPATRICK

MOUNT OLIVE -- Maggie Hopkins Kilpatrick, 88, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
A service in celebration of her life will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Indian Springs Free Will Baptist Church of which she was a long-time member. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
Mrs. Kilpatrick was the widow of Forrest Kilpatrick and was daughter of the late John William and Elizabeth Matthews Hopkins.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Marie K. and Buck Abrams of Mount Olive; a son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Iris Kilpatrick of Mount Olive; seven grandchildren, Tiffany K. and Asa Creech, Audra K. and Eddie Carlyle, Cliff and Sabre Kilpatrick, Collin and Amber Kilpatrick, Patrick and Morgan Abrams, Dallas Abrams and Mitchell Abrams; three great-grandchildren, Eddie Carlyle Jr., Apsley Carlyle, and Avery Abrams; and a step-grandson, Eddie Creech.
Friends and family will be received at the Tom Kilpatrick residence at 2495 N.C. 55 East, Mount Olive.
