James "Bud" Pearsall, 61, formerly of Duplin County, died Saturday at University of North Carolina Hospital, Chapel Hill.
Seven children survive.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, Rose Hill, with burial following at Rainbow Community Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
