James Lamb, 66, 500 Whitfield Drive, Goldsboro, died Friday at home. The viewing will be Tuesday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Victory Faith Center, 791 U.S. 13 South in Goldsboro. Apostle Walter Barbour will officiate. Burial will follow in the Wayne Memorial Park North.
He was a native of Sampson County and was preceded in death by his father, Percy Lamb.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnne Jackson Lamb of the home; mother, Rose Ann Garfield Lamb of the home; four sons, Carl Ward of Goldsboro, Sean Lamb of Indiana, Robert Lamb of Greensboro and Joseph Lamb of Goldsboro; four daughters, Marsha Chambers of Pittsburgh, Pa., Nichelle Skinner of Pittsburgh, Collette Royal of Harrell, N.C., and Tawanda Cobb of Goldsboro.
