Arlene Pride Oliphant, 39, of Toney, Ala., formerly of the Suttontown Community in Mount Olive, died Tuesday at her home in Toney.

The funeral will be held morning at 11 at Goshen Disciples Church in Faison, with Pastor David Atkinson officiating. The burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Newton Grove.

The viewing will be held Monday at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George Street, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., with the family present from 6 until 7.

Mrs. Oliphant was a native of Wayne County, and attended Mount Olive College.

Her survivors include her husband, Herbert Oliphant, of the home; three sons, Johnathan Oliphant, Josiah Oliphant, and Julius Oliphant, all of the home; one daughter, Judiece Oliphant, of the home; her mother, Rebecca Jackson, of Md.; two brothers, Christopher Jackson and Lance Jackson, both of Washington, D.C.; three sisters, Donna Pride, Fonda Pride and Ann Jackson of Washington, D.C.

The family will receive friends at 102 Bear Trap Lane in Dudley.
