A homegoing service for Helen Monk Jackson of Goldsboro, who passed Sept. 28 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel of Goldsboro with the Rev. Carlton Barnes officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She leaves to cherish to her memory six daughters; Doris Jackson Holmes and Joella Jackson of Goldsboro, Dorothy Gomez of Manhattan, N.Y., Winnie Morri, of Saginaw, Mich., Tawana James of Dudley and Stephanie Perkins of Maryland; three sons; Douglas Jackson Jr. and Alvis Jackson of Dudley and Anthony Quinn of Goldsboro; three sisters; Essie Lee Cox, Geraldine Archie and Joann Monk of Goldsboro; five brothers; George Monk of Clinton, James Monk and Harry Monk of Fayetteville, Bobby Monk of Maryland and Larry Monk of Goldsboro; 31 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be held today from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home chapel.
