HESBA LEE WOODCOCK MILLARD
Died Friday. Funeral today.
Mrs. Hesba Lee J. Woodcock Millard, 90, formerly of Goldsboro, died Friday morning at the home of her daughter in Williamston.
Mrs. Mil-lard was born in Pender County to the late Claude Robert Johnson and Mamie Viola Malpass Johnson and was married to the late Murphy James Woodcock and Carl Millard. Mrs. Millard had worked as an aide and attended Clingman Street Church of God while in Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ira Williford officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodcock Cemetery in Atkinson.
Mrs. Millard is survived by her daughters, Patricia Woodcock Bodell of Paducah, Ky., Sheila Woodcock Over-man and husband, Ralph, of Goldsboro, and Phyllis Woodcock Pollock and husband, Bill, of Williamston; son Billy Ray Woodcock and wife, Ruby, of Grantham; sister, Viola Harrell of Wilmington; grandchildren, Reno Bodell, Martin Bodell, Sharon Scott, Pam Kneeshaw, Thomas Pollock III, Diane Oliver, Sandra K. Vaziri-Zanjani, Robin Kersey, Tammy Barber, William Williams and Steve Williams; 20 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
The family received friends Saturday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
