Died March 17, 2006

Hesba Lee J. Woodcock Millard, 90, formerly of Goldsboro, died today at her daughter's home in Williamston.

Mrs. Millard was born in Pender County to the late Claude Robert Johnson and Mamie Viola Malpass Johnson and was married to the late Carl Millard. Mrs. Millard had worked as a licensed practical nurse and attended Clingman Street Church of God when she lived in Goldsboro.

The funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ira Williford officiating. Burial will follow in the Atkinson Cemetery in Atkinson, N.C.

Mrs. Millard is survived by her daughters, Patricia Woodcock Bodell of Paducah, Ky., Sheila Woodcock Overman and husband, Ralph Overman, of Goldsboro and Phyllis Woodcock Pollock and husband, Bill Pollock, of Williamston; her son, Billy Ray Woodcock and wife, Ruby, of Grantham; her sister, Viola Harrell of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Reno Bodell, Martin Bodell, Sharon Scott, Pam Kneeshaw, Thomas Pollock III, Diane Oliver, Sandra K. Vaziri-Zanjani, Robin Kersey, Tammy Barber, William Williams, Steve Williams; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
