LOUISE ZAMBELLI

Louise Hill Zambelli, 89, of 1005 Edgerton St., died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The Rev. Thomas Norris, O.S.F.S., and Rev. Arcie Ann Brown will officiate. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Zambelli was born in Wayne County to the late Robert Lee Hill and Anna Eason Hill. She retired from Sears and was a member of Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church and Goldsboro Woman's Club.

She is survived by her husband, John A. Zambelli; one son, John Lee Zambelli and his wife, Novelle N., of Goldsboro; one daughter, Veda Kay Carter and her husband, Mike, of Kinston; one brother, Burnice Hill and his wife, Shirley, of Rosewood; three sisters, Cora Lee Hill Roberts and her husband, Warren J., of Goldsboro, Mozelle Hill Hines of Belfast and Bessie Hill Beamon and her husband, Bennie, of Goldsboro; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Zambelli was preceded in death a daughter, Jo Ann Popham, one sister and four brothers.

The family will receive friends at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory following the service tonight, and other times at the residence.
