WARSAW -- Katie Mae Gore Kirby, 85, died Saturday.
Ms. Kirby is survived by a son, Dennis Lee Kirby of Kenansville; a daughter, Jenell Kirby Edmundson and husband, Gene of Warsaw; a sister, Nettie Arnold of Waycross, Ga.; three grandchildren, Clayton Kirby, Charles Kirby, and Jennifer Harrell; and five great-grandchildren, Timmy Kirby, Jacob Kirby, Katie Kirby, Karla Kirby, and Hunter Harrell.
Ms. Kirby was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Kirby; a son, Carl Amos Kirby; and two brothers, Herman Gore and Joseph Gore.
Visitation will be held today at Community Funeral Home in Warsaw. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Monday at Johnson Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Devotional Gardens.
