DAVID J. HOLLIDAY
MOUNT OLIVE -- David Junior Holliday, 70, of 306 South Johnson St., died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home with J. D. Newman presiding. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Park.
Mr. Holliday was born March 20, 1935, and was the son of the late Charlie and Marie Stallings Holliday. He was a retired fruit and vegetable salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Mae Parker Holliday of the home; two daughters, Valerie Holliday and Linda Stevenson of New York; five sons, Victor Holliday, Phillip Holliday, and Stanley Holliday, all of New York and Willie Lee Stevenson and Ronnie Stevenson of Georgia; one sister, Inez H. Royall of Mount Olive; seven brothers, Earl Stallings, Jimmy Holliday, Thomas Holliday, and Charles Holliday of New York, James Holliday of Mount Olive and Kenneth Holliday and Bobby Lee Lawson of Goldsboro; and 21 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday at Tyndall Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
Flowers are welcome, or memorial donations may be sent to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Mount Olive.
