ELIZABETH HOLMES
Elizabeth Holmes, 81, of 702 Robinson Place, died Thursday, February 17, at her home.
A funeral service was conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, where the Rev. Arthur Evans officiated. Burial followed in Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by a daughter, Dr. Catherine H. Turk of Stone Mountain, Ga.; two sons, Johnnie Holmes (Mary) of Goldsboro, and Dr. Arthur Anderson of Decatur, Ga.; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; one brother, James Rhodes of Goldsboro; and one sister, Louvenia Rhodes of Goldsboro.
