BENJAMIN S. RIGGLE

On Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005, God chose to take this precious young man home to be with Him. Our hearts are so saddened but we take comfort in knowing that his Nana and Da-DaDs and Grandma and Grandpa are now taking care of him. We think Benji finally met his "hero," Dale Earnhart.

Benji was a young man who never married but had a very full life. He loved life, his family and his many friends. He especially loved hunting and his dogs.

Benji came into our lives Oct. 31, 1977, and was a true blessing from God. He is survived by his parents, Larry and Pam Riggle of Mount Olive; a sister, Becky (Laura) Riggle of Calypso, and a sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Frank Braswell of Seven Springs; Juliana Braswell and Jordan Riggle were his niece and nephew.

Benji leaves behind his beloved aunts and uncles (and second parents!) Gene and Virginia Hines and John and Ann Howell from Calypso. In addition, aunts and uncles, Betty Riggle of Fayetteville, Mary Conatyer of Raleigh, Joyce and Mark Flynn of Rock Hill, S.C., and George Riggle of Texas,, Alice and Ricky Ferrell of Winston-Salem, N.C.. Also, many cousins. In addition special friends, Reid, Heather and Landon Kelly.

We praise the Lord for allowing this young man to have been a part of our lives. We love him and will greatly miss him.

The celebration of his live will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Powell of Peace Baptist Church, of which Benji was a member and Clayton Sutton of Hood Grove Baptist Church, Newton Grove. Visitation will follow.

Burial will be on Wednesday morning at 11 in Calypso Cemetery. The family will be at 217 S. Center St., in Calypso.
