RONALD M. MORGAN

Retired Master Sergeant Ronald Max Morgan, 73, of 104 Danny Circle, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. The Rev. Jack Sauls will officiate.

Mr. Morgan was born in Ashley, W.Va., on May 23, 1931, to the late Charles Russell and Blanche Swiger Morgan. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church where he served as past Deacon and Sunday School director. He was retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. Mr. Morgan was also retired from Johnson and Sherman Parts Company, with 22 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Louetta Mae Ford Morgan; three daughters, Patty Gail Gray of Wilson, Marcia Elaine Colona of Dillwyn, Va., and Cheryl Dawn Andras of Goldsboro; one son, Ronald Lee Morgan of Smithfield; three sisters, Maggie Starkey of Center Point, W.Va., Maxine Matthews of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Wilma Dean McMullen of Soloma, Md.; one brother, Wayne Morgan of California; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Matha Swiger, Marie McCoy, and Wanda Lee Swiger; five brothers, Oley Morgan, Okey Morgan, Roy Morgan, Ralph Morgan and Frank Morgan; and one grandson, Michael Shawn Maynard.
