LOUETTA S. MORRIS

Louetta Sullivan Morris, 88, of East Mulberry Street, died Wednesday at her home.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. Dr. De Wayne Eakes will officiate. Burial will be private and will be in the Silas Lucas Cemetery in Lucama.

Mrs. Morris was born in Wayne County on Dec. 23, 1915, to the late Nathan and Eva Perkins Sullivan. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Goldsboro.

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy D. Morris of Cary; a sister, Dorothy Aycock of Fremont; and several nieces, nephews, close friends and church family.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to WAGES (Meals on Wheels), 601 E. Royall Ave., Goldsboro, N.C., 27534; or to the Wayne County Services on Aging, 204 E. Walnut Street, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
