LERUE PRITCHETT

WALSTONBURG -- Retired (USMC) LeRue Pritchett of Walstonburg, died Friday at Wilson Medical Center.

Mr. Pritchett was born in Troy, Ala., on June 4, 1920, to the late Shelby and Annie McMillian Pritchett. He was retired from the United States Marine Corps with 23 years of service, a member of the Fleet Reserve Association and the Masonic Lodge in Savannah, Georgia. He was retired from Georgia Ports Authority in Savannah, Georgia and from Imperial Tobacco Company in Wilson.

He is survived by his wife, Beulah Pritchett; three sons, Hillery Pritchett of Snow Hill, George Pritchett of Shawnee, Georgia and Gary Pritchett of Walstonburg; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie Joy Franklin.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
